| Each
rider who takes part in the Club Time Trials is placed into
a category
based
on their previous seasons personal best set on the 'sporting'
K18/10.
The tables are based on times below.
- Group
A is for riders with a personal best
of under 24 minutes.
- Group
B is for riders with a personal best of
between 24:00 - 24:59.
- Group
C is for riders with a personal best of
between 25:00 - 26:59.
- Group
D is for riders with a personal best of
more than 27:00.
- Vets. There is also a separate category for Vets (those aged
40 and
above).
However, vets still qualify for their respective performance
category as well.
- Handicap
Group. A riders handicap
is based around their average time on the K18/10 (three
qualifying times required).
Points
are awarded depending on which category you in, regardless
of how you finish overall on the night. Therefore you are
only in competition for points with those riders in your
category.
The 12 best scores count towards respective totals.
Points
are awarded to the first six riders in category A-D on
the following basis:
- 1st Place - 6 Points
- 2nd Place - 5 Points
- 3rd Place - 4 Points
- 4th Place - 3 Points
- 5th Place - 2 Points
- 6th Place - 1 Point
The
points will range from 10 through to 1 for the vets and 20
through to 1 for the Handicap group. |
